Every Road Is New

No road should ever become too familiar.  Regularly traveling the same stretch of road, your brain begins to think it knows what's around that blind corner - after all, it seems the same day after day after day. The fact is that the corner isn't blind - you are!  Think about it: How fast would you travel in dense fog with 20 feet of visibility? Anytime your visibility is blocked (and this includes tailgating!), you're driving blind, and adjustments must be made. Anything can be around that corner: an accident, wildlife, UFOs or even a meteor strike. Maybe it's just the perfect spot for some yuppie to pour out the last of their unwanted latte.  Unless you can see around corners, you must be prepared to stop for something which won't be there 99 times out of 100.

Don't be fooled.

The Rules:

x-ray vision

slow down

know your vehicle

every road is new

respect physics
